A former garage is converted into a house. Using a lighter floor, placing a hanging cupboard with a fireplace in combination with soft colours, create a warm atmosphere

The fabric of the generous sofa adds enough warmth without disturbing the colour palette

The existing black and white kitchen follows the lines of the sofa and bookcase. The grey-brown wall marks the end of the large room. the opposite wall is covered with wallpaper in the same colour. In this way the colours are reflected in different materials and act as supporting pillars for the white ceiling
